Easier Local Search Marketing with Google Places

A blip of a video that explains how Google Places can now create a ‘service area’ for your business – you can define your service reach by region or radius from your business location. This is great for 2 reasons:

  1. If you run your business from a private location (like from your home) and don’t want to give out your address.
  2. If your location does not define your service area.

All in all, local search marketing is becoming the most powerful of social marketing systems we have seen, to date; everyone needs advice on local services, sometimes. Making sure that you can be found on Google Places is a great place to start.
